Guess Who Created Me?

The Secret Artist Transformation Game

Upload a photo and let AI secretly transform you into an artist from anywhere in art history. You won’t choose the artist, period or medium: you might become an ancient sculpture, medieval fresco, Renaissance portrait, modern painting, photograph or something unexpected.

AI keeps you recognizable while changing your appearance, pose, setting and artistic language to hide clues to its secret choice.

Your challenge? Study the artwork and discover who you have become.

Look at technique, colors, materials, composition, clothing and visual clues. Some results will be obvious; others may send you exploring art history.

Never reveal the artist. The artwork itself is the answer.

Upload your photo. Become the artist. Guess who you are.

JUST COPY THE PROMPT BELOW AND UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO WHEN ASKED

GUESS WHO CREATED ME?

THE SECRET ARTIST TRANSFORMATION GAME

Follow these two stages in order.

STAGE 1: WAIT FOR THE PHOTO

First check whether an actual photograph of the person to transform is attached and accessible in this conversation.

If no valid photo is attached:

- Do not generate an image or invent a subject.

- Do not select an artist, period, medium or style.

- Do not describe possible results.

Reply only:

“Please upload a clear photograph of the person you want to transform. The Secret Artist Transformation Game will begin only after the photograph has been received.”

Then stop and wait.

STAGE 2: SECRET ARTIST LOTTERY

Once the photo is available, ask no questions. Make all following choices privately.

Do not simply choose the most obvious or statistically likely artist. Aim for varied, unpredictable results across repeated uses.

STEP 1: PERIOD

Secretly select one period with approximately equal probability:

1. Ancient art: Greek, Roman, Egyptian or other ancient traditions

2. Late Antique, Byzantine or Early Medieval

3. Romanesque or Gothic

4. 13th-14th centuries

5. 15th-16th centuries

6. 17th century

7. 18th century

8. 19th century

9. Early 20th century

10. Mid/Late 20th century

11. Contemporary art

Do not default to modern European painting. Vary regions, cultures and traditions.

STEP 2: MEDIUM

Secretly select a historically compatible medium, such as painting, fresco, tempera, encaustic, illuminated manuscript, watercolor, drawing, engraving, etching, woodcut, lithography, mosaic, tapestry, stained glass, ceramics, sculpture, relief, photography, illustration, graphic art, collage, mixed media, installation, digital art or another appropriate form.

Painting is not the default. The chosen medium must genuinely shape materials, textures and technique.

STEP 3: DIFFICULTY

Secretly choose:

- 50%: universally famous artist/tradition

- 35%: major artist, master, school or movement

- 15%: less obvious but historically significant choice

Famous artists remain eligible but must not be repeatedly favored simply because they are easy to imitate.

STEP 4: SECRET ARTIST

Only now choose an artist or artistic tradition compatible with the period and medium.

The choice may be a painter, sculptor, photographer, illustrator, printmaker, mosaicist, graphic artist, anonymous master, ancient artistic tradition, workshop, school, movement or other distinctive visual tradition.

Ancient, medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, modern and contemporary art must all remain possible.

If an individual artist is unknown, disputed or inappropriate, choose a recognizable master, workshop, school or tradition.

Do not favor artists because they are famous for self-portraits. Treat each execution independently and do not default to artists used in previous examples or generations.

STEP 5: COMPOSITION

Privately choose a composition appropriate to the secret artist and medium: close-up, profile, half/full figure, seated/standing figure, unusual viewpoint, monumental pose, sculptural bust/full figure, relief, narrative scene, fresco/mosaic, illuminated portrait, staged/candid photograph, abstract portrait, environmental portrait or another appropriate form.

Do not automatically preserve the source photo’s crop, orientation, angle, pose, expression, background, clothing, hairstyle, eyewear, lighting or perspective.

Use the photo as an IDENTITY REFERENCE, not a COMPOSITION TEMPLATE.

IDENTITY & TRANSFORMATION

Preserve the subject’s recognizable facial identity and distinctive features.

Identity does NOT mean preserving pose, hairstyle, glasses, clothing, expression, lighting or composition. Restage and redress the subject as needed.

Alter/remove modern elements when incompatible with the chosen period or concept.

Do not replace the subject with the historical artist. Imagine instead that the photographed person is an alternative incarnation of that artist or tradition.

Modify selected details such as hairstyle, hair color, facial hair, clothing, accessories, headwear, posture or period styling as clues.

Clues may also come from technique, composition, setting, medium, materials and motifs.

The final person must remain recognizable as the photographed subject.

CREATE THE ARTWORK

Create an original self-portrait in the visual language of the secret artist, master, school, movement or tradition.

Do NOT simply apply a style filter.

Reinterpret the source through the chosen:

- medium/materials

- composition/pose

- lighting/perspective

- color/tonal range

- surface/texture

- line/form/mark-making

- realism, stylization or abstraction

- space and symbolism

- atmosphere and visual motifs

Transform clothing, environment, objects, architecture and landscape when appropriate.

The result should look like an original work belonging to the selected artistic universe while depicting the photographed person.

Do not copy a famous existing artwork or mechanically insert the subject into an iconic composition. Use the broader artistic language of the secret selection.

AVOID STEREOTYPES

Do not automatically show the subject with a paintbrush, palette, easel, painter’s coat or studio.

Do not use famous visual clichés as generic symbols of “art.” Include recognizable motifs only when genuinely appropriate to the secret selection.

Avoid repeatedly defaulting to conventional painted portraits, Post-Impressionism or familiar AI artist archetypes.

THE GUESSING GAME

The artwork must be the only clue to the secret artist/tradition.

Clues may include appearance, period, medium, materials, composition, technique, setting and visual language.

Difficulty should naturally range from easy to challenging.

Do not explain clues or reveal the artist, tradition, period, medium or movement.

Do not include identifying information in text, titles, captions, signatures, watermarks or inside the artwork.

If the user later guesses or explicitly asks for the answer, you may reveal/confirm the secret selection.

FINAL CHECK

Before generating, privately verify:

1. Period and medium were chosen before the artist.

2. The choice is compatible with both.

3. The medium genuinely shapes the result.

4. The source photo supplies identity, not a fixed composition.

5. The work is more than a style filter.

6. The subject remains recognizable.

7. Generic artist clichés are avoided unless relevant.

8. The image contains meaningful clues.

9. The result has not defaulted without reason to a familiar modern painted portrait.

If necessary, discard the plan and repeat the secret selection once. Do not mention this.

FINAL RULE

If a valid photo is attached, perform the secret selection and generate ONE artwork immediately.

Do not reveal the artist, period, medium, movement, selection process or clues. Add no title, caption, introduction or closing comment.

The artwork itself must be the entire answer.

If no valid photo is attached, return to Stage 1 and generate nothing.

I don't know the artist but I never imagined myself as a saint!

it is similar to previous prompt for me.. 😃 😃

it is similar to previous prompt for me.. 😃 😃

📸️

I asked to AI why and it answered the limit can be the pose: if the starting picture is the same, it looks for an artist made paintings similar to you photo. It seems a shortcut it uses to don't work too much and to try to satisfy the user.

yea.. I changed to Gemini, I got this..

and I could guess the artist.. 😃, it's Van Gogh.. 😃 but again, face is used somewhat different.. I am not too much old as it showed me.. 😃

Mi sembra abbastanza chiaro 😅

As you can read in the description, the prompt starts from your picture to create a self-portrait of the casual artist it chooses merging your details with some of the artist to suggest you who you became. The aged version of you can be the usual way how to Van Gogh painted itself.

That's what I guessed too.
