ooo I didn't see this topic, sorry, we don't celebrate Christmas and New Year because we are Muslim, but during the Christmas holidays I still get all kinds of things in the house to make the kids happy... presents, tasty snacks and we watch Christmas films. We order one every year. Christmas stump at the bakery hhhh and on New Year's Eve we will take a walk in the village to watch fireworks and enjoy the happy holidays with your family

I didn't know Muslims don't celebrate Christmas and New Year, but I guess it makes sense. They're both Christian days or not? Sounds like a lot of fun despite not celebrating it. Hope you enjoy this year as much as the previous ones! 😊🌼

The guqin is really relaxing to listen to. 🎶 For me it would be setting more boundaries and taking up plans on my own more/getting out of my comfort zone. 🌼What are your resolutions @-Kiki-? 🙂
That is very nice @-Kiki-!!! And you wanted to have a room for you right that you live on yourself? That is maybe also a nice resolution but it is SUPERR difficult right because everybody says that now.Yes, if I'm able to, then that would be very nice!! 😊🌺
Also, @Fleurke, do Muslims have an equivalent to New Year's? 🙃

Hello kiki we have 2 important holidays, the Eid al-Fitr, which is the day that Ramadan is over, then there is cake, sweets andHi, that sounds like a very nice time. 😊 Isn't Ramadan hard? I've had some Muslim classmates, but having to exercise without eating and drinking must be hard. Or are you allowed to drink water during the day? Also, why exactly do Muslims vast? 🌼
gifts and everyone wears new clothes and we also have the sacrificial feast then everyone goes everywhere to eat and then again with new clothes and goodies
Hi, that sounds like a very nice time. 😊 Isn't Ramadan hard? I've had some Muslim classmates, but having to exercise without eating and drinking must be hard. Or are you allowed to drink water during the day? Also, why exactly do Muslims vast? 🌼According to Islam, fasting is intended for Muslims to develop qualities such as self-control, discipline and endurance. The aim is to teach Muslims to control their lusts and desires. Muslims therefore fast for a month between Fajr (dawn) and Maghrib (sunset). No we can not drinking water during the day. From an early age, children learn to do Ramadan, first for a few hours or even for a day, it is not that they immediately start doing it, but they learn gradually. that fits very well. Only when there is a heat wave and you are working is the thirst sometimes difficult
I have no resolutions for the new year. I live day by day. I don't make plans for the future.

I can imagine that's tough. I believe pregnant people, the elderly and sick people don't have to join, right?
