Do you ever read of heard about "The Betrothed"? De todo y un poco más
Yes, I've read some of Manzoni's works, and I've thought that The Betrothed was such an underrated novel. It is literally as powerful as Victor Hugo's works. I still remember some fragment such as “But this is how we men are made: Indignant and furious, we rebel against moderate ills, but bow in silence before the extremes. We bear the worst of what we once considered unbearable, stupefied but not resigned.”
