im now in macau and im new here, this is my first post. hope get on well with you all. LOVE YOU ALL

Hey, welcome on penpal! Hope you're doing fine. 😊 Ok, this is very random, but is there really such a strict point system in China? Like when you walk through a red light you get less point or sm? Hope it's not a too straightforward question 😛

i think your meaning is a rating system right? here's no such things actually. i think our gov is just like a parent. she want to protect us, but sometime so strict.
but heres do have some forbbiden in the main land of china. we cant have guns, not permmited to watch porn. so in the most time, we just feel free. we think we are really safe here.

Yes, it is. Your view of China is so different from the one that is, I think commonly, in the west. What's the area you live in if it differs from the mainland?

I think many many Chinese people are afraid to say what they really think. It is even dangerous to say something negative about Russia in the Ukrainian war...

e i think theres no such great differ from here to mainland. but the shops here are really expensive. than the mainland i mean. and i think the mainland is more clean than here. skyline here are as well as beijing.

actually not. As long as you don't deliberately smear the country,no one will care what you are saying. A country with a population of 1.4 billion is indeed difficult to govern,so therefore, it is necessary to unify thoughts. you think that because the most people here are supporting russia. but theres still some people are supporting ukrainian.

In China, as long as you do not insult the Chinese people, your speech is completely free. In fact, as long as you do not spread rumors, the state will not punish you

Is it true that you are not allowed to contact or critisize members of the government directly but have to use the contact of your local regional country first?

If so this in an intelligent way to control every critical announcement does not leave the local county.

Personally think critical about this: It has a reason why those rules are imemented.

Hello ! Welcome here !
I have a question about local life in China. What are the main similarities and differences between life in Chinese Cities and the Chinese countryside ?
(social, economical and way of life, food, traditions, etc...)

I think the difference between cities and villages in China is just like the difference between rural cities in any country.Under normal circumstances, the countryside is more backward than the urban economy, but some villages are also very rich. The preservation of traditional cultural customs in rural areas is more perfect, and the food in rural areas is also more traditional.Life in the countryside is slower and people's relationships are more intimate and harmonious.
