Poems in school 🤯☠️ Anything and everything

Guys I have a question to everyone do/did you analyze poems in school? If yes: Which grade were you?, Which poems (like their topic or the epoch) was it? Did you like it? Yes, why?, No why? How hard was it? Did you wrote exams abt them??

In Germany poems are death himself! You need to analyze them and IF your techer is like mine you will not know how you actually need to do it and when u finally understand it your teacher will say it is wrong (even though it is the stuff the teacher told you to do) and will tell you to do smthg else and at the end the average grade of the class will be a 4-/D-

in elementary and middle school it was very beautiful. In high school it could become a nightmare😨

yeah i have it since 5thade and since then a 4-/D- to 3-/C-

but it is always like that on the topic poems

We do get poems too in some classes like English and Dutch classes. Not really yet for French and German classes now but later we do i think. But it is only sometimes that we have to read it but there are no tests about them yet. But later I think that we do get more about it also for grades. But I dont mind that at all!! 🙂
