I think it can be constructive

I believe that life is the most valuable gift given to anyone should anyone with a clear mindset choose to afflict or influence any thoughts of self harm in my opinion is very distasteful however, in the event of a particular situation (s) that may have resulted in trauma of an individual there will be a greater need for phscological intervention.
