We have two new year.
One is Jan. 1st every year.
Another in Chinese calender,Water-Tiger new year is Feb. 1st(only 2022).It's changing in different years.
In 2023,Water-rabbit year,Chinese new year is Jan.22.

In china, we have two new year to celebrate. The first one is January 1st(Gregorian calendar). I think many countries celebrate this day too. We call this day New Year's Day（元旦）.

But we also have our traditional new year to celebrate, which is called spring festival, Lunar new year or Chinese New Year. The time we begin to celebrate this festival is depends on our traditional lunar calendar and which part of China you are from. But we generally begin to celebrate this festival during February. And we typically celebrate it for 1 to 2 weeks.
