This is Aadhil , I'm an computer science software engineering specialization student at university !! Right now I'm learning computer programming and web designing /development !! I learned programming a very long time ago. My first computer language was Basic. I eventually graduated from college with a degree in Computer Science and worked as a programmer for 18 years before going into support. I call myself a dinosaur programmer because most of the programming I did was before the internet and also before widespread object oriented programming.

I hope you enjoy your software education. It's a great field to work in.

I learned a whole bunch of languages that I never used beyond school projects because one of my college courses was a survey of programming languages. The ones I mainly used were Pascal, Ada and C. I also used Fortran, Cobol and a little bit of Java while working as a programmer. I used Visual Basic when I was in support writing example programs for the APIs I supported.

I don't really do any programming these days but I am considering writing a wine tasting notes application for my iPhone once I "retire". I wouldn't intend it to be an application available for purchasing but I'd share it with people who wanted to try using it. However considering there are lots of other things I want to do when I retire I might never get to it.

Ooh Pascal !! It's really an old language na !! Now we don't use that right? Yea C is okay for now ,most of the basic games made with C !! Aaha btw i know C , C++, Java , Python and scripting languages, JS , Html ,CSS and PHP ,

Aah I see yea but when I write codes sometimes one brain is not enough for me 😂 sometimes we want to make a logic where logics can't appear😂😂 but its really interesting !!

I think programmers are like magicians , they invent new things 😂

I am learning some r languages. but I am not into that.

Ooh R, tell us more. I did some Pascal at the time ... Verbose. 🙂

Naturally evolved to Java, but since working more with data and automation, gone on to Python and Javascript.
Hence, some interest in R.

Once on the workfloor, Aadhil, unfortunately, there is often too little interest in the programmer's magic, I find.
Quick wins tend to be preferred over elegant solutions.

Other than that I would dare say that the whole development team works the magic together: analysts, devs, testers and a (competent) PO.

Nice initiative, I hope people will respond ambitiously.

I used to go to IT courses some years ago. My studying there lasted 2 years and I even have a document about its completion. We studied a bit CSS and tried to make small "sites" from writing different programs. What about my lessons at school, when we had to study such topic on computer science we had a new teacher, who was a really weird man believe me 😂 The problem was that he loved drinking a lot of energy drinks and coffee before his lesson, and after that became very aggressive. By the way, only because of his lessons I heard about Pascal. But unfortunately I have very bad memories about it 😅
Now I don't remember much about computer programming nuances, moreover science is progressing very quickly, so I think that my knowledge isn't very relevant 😄
You guys seem very passionate about this topic, in my opinion it's very interesting way for experience exchanging! 😊

Yea @LilyPeng6 it's so nice to hear that you learned R language , mostly we use that to create statistical calculation and data visualization portions of data analysis.
