Ok, here is the question: How do you end a friendship without hurting?

Have been friends with this person for over 10 years. She was one of my closes friends. But I can't any longer cope with her complaints and whining over silly little things. We grow apart over the years; how I see everything has changed drastically. I wanna end this friendship but still can't do anything because I don't want to hurt her. She is getting married in a couple of months. Now is not great timing but also I don't want to attend her wedding and feel like a hypocrite...
