i really like horses!

I started appreciating horses more a few years ago. I read some books on animal behavior and animal intelligence and learned there was more to horses than I'd known. I also went to Worldcon (a science fiction convention) and one of the panel discussions was how to accurately incorporate horses into stories. The authors (all women) covered both their experiences and relationships with horses and information about how to write about them intelligently.

I don't get to interact with horses very often but I do enjoy seeing them and it's even better if they seem to want attention. I'm always willing to give a horse a few pats and pettings if they want it.
