So, this is my first post on the forum. I've been a silent member of this website for three years, yet I've hopped on here only this month, because I totally forgot how to be properly active on here apparently.
I have a burning question, one that doesn't seem to be easily answered: what is the absolute bane of your existence?
Could be anything: relationships, money, mental or physical health. It really could be anything.
You don't have to be necessarily "deep" in your answer. Just try to be honest, and maybe who knows, this post could help you in some extremely small way...who knows, right?
Sorryy if is very stupid question but what is bane of existence? So do u mean like what u want the most or like if u have certain biggest hobbies and passion or other things that are the most important in your life? 🙄🙄 And i hope others answer too so i can look what they say!!! 😛

No, it basically means what makes your life difficult at the moment.
You can give your opinion on anything the conversation is about, or something that really appeals to you/you're passionate with, and you're met with a soulless reaction or shrugged off.
Granted a lot of that can be from your inner head making a mountain out of people's molehilled reactions, but it can really destroy how you try to see and connect with others - hence the bane of life.

It's an expression 🙂. The word "bane" has its roots in Scottish Gaelic, but it's become a "loan word" in English.. In most cases it means a source of distress or annoyance. It can also mean "poison."
For me? This Master's project atm. It takes up time I need for other things. On a larger scale... People who write checks their mouths can't cash.

Okiiesss thnx!!!! 🙂 I think maybe that everything is super expensive and i have now for FIRST time a summer job at the AH which is a supermarket and it is really nice but for example in the summer holiday we can still not really do too much. Like if u go with friends to cinema or if u want to go to Amsterdam or maybe theme park which is nice or other things then EVERYTHING is super expensive and even with summer job it is too much. So u do have time to do things now in the holiday but u cant really do too much. But is ok bc now we normally just meet and buy one drink and sit somewhere and talk a LOTTT but that is maybe one thing that is the bane what @Thesleeper and @Based_Aura mean. But also if it is not holiday i think a LOTTT of people are super worried and now everybody ONLY things which school profile or subjects that later u can earn a lot of money and for example other subjects like art history nobody really cares about or thinks is important. And also with other things people really brag if they can buy lot of things and we cant do that at all normally. So that is maybe a bane.
