Tipps and tricks for writing stories

Hellooo, I'm kinda bored right know and usually I'm writing stories when I'm bored but unfortunately I have to get ready for bed sooo I wanted to make this forum rq. I don't know if something like this already exists. But I really need help. You see I LOVE writing stories. I have all the characters from the different "books"* and the rough outline what will happen and how I connect every story with the others. BUT I sometimes don't know how to keep my motivation up so I actually write scenes (the book with the most scenes/chapter right know is my second one called "know, don't remember") or how to make a plot twist actually interesting so if anyone has tips (or just wants to hear the lore of my books) please tell me

* With books I mean that the story has it's own special plot and their own characters, and have little to nothing to do with the other books (spoiler they actually linked with each other wich is revealed in the "last book") I have 6 so far.

Abbyyy @Whatsername_ i ❤️ that u write stories and would love to hear more about them when that is ok!!! 😊😊 I dont really write books but i do like writing super short stories that i feel like. So OFTEN but not always it is just feeling and then that makes me write in certain way and then it quickly becomes story. So i DONT really have super complicated plots but just how u feel. And i like writing with one person in mind the most and i always like to use my mom's name for it!!! 😛 😛 And she knows that!!! 😇😇🥰

That's super cool that you write Stories yourself. I actually started with short Story but i got bored so I added more and more detail and if you want to know more you can choose between

1.know, dont remember (1 book) /Know, dont forget (2 nd book) same characters but time difference and an different plot

2. Diamonds are forever, it's actually tragic and the plot isn't finished yet

3. Dream, the first ever long story I worked on

4. Is runaway it is more of a mafia romance thingy with a plot you wouldn't expect I'd you don't see some details

5. Is the meeting so to say the big final (I literally thought of it yesterday and I'm finishes with the outline)

And last but kor least eclipse that's an own universe so wayy different and not linked to any of those stories

Okay I'll start with "know,don't remember" it's about the main character (MC) Lucretia short Lu. Her parents send her to a boarding school called Elbuort (read it backwards haha). She thinks it's a normal school with weird traditions. But she eventually discovers that the students there aren't exactly normal. They have powers (the usual powers like controlling fire/ice but also things like controlling the weather or freezing things/people in time) after a while she gets recruited as a "lumberjack" (still thinking of a better name) because the principal (Janette Kingsley) knows there is something in the woods that keeps watching them, and she need to eliminate it so it isn't a danger for them and the other students (Janette's power is that she literally explodes under too much emotional / physical pressure,at least that what the people know who know her power) so she send lu and other people (jay-fire,terry-freezing time, bill- controlling weather and Helena-Controls gravity in a circle made of chalk) Into the woods to locate it (lu's power is that she knows everything about everyone she sees except for Janette and jay) but in the end the "monster" isn't the actual villain (tip one from the team and another one secretly together) so you can guess the plot 😉

I tried to keep it as short as possible so it might be a bit difficult to understand.

English is not a problem at all, no worries. English is, besides German, one if my first work-languages.

And yes, I do write myself and have a best friend who does too.

I really ❤️ the plot and is almost like new movie but like in style of Hunger Games or maybe the Maze!!! 🙂 Do u write it as story so u can make it a book or maybe also like i think @Colin_Der_Backfisch did as movie script? Maybe u can also think of a script to write it in that way!! But i have a question: how do they know that there is even something in the woods and that people THINK it is evil?? Did something happen in the past or is it only like some stories?? Because that is maybe also nice that it is like a mystery WHYYY people think what happened and if it is bit vague then people can have all sort thoughts about it and that makes it even MOREE creepy!!! 😬😬😋

That's a species of humans that can change into a giant spider like creature and they know everything. So this special one is the last one since the principal killed the few who were left so no one remembers her dirty little secret (this händelron, his name is jonath, was the detective who got the case of the Kingsleys [the principal's family] and Ofcc he knew but he needed evidence) jonath always stayed near her to watch her , and Kingsley (the principal) knows he is out there in the woods behind the school. So she recruits the lumberjacks and tell them that jonath is the monster even though it's actually her. And bc she isn't able to find him, she just send out those kids

Abbyyyy i think u should really finish it but take TIME to do that and maybe here people can help reading it and maybe give tips!!! If u want that then i really want to be one of them to help give tips. 🙂 But maybe u can think if that is a nice idea!!!
