A peregrine falcon named Miss Alma LeFay Peregrine because of the book 'miss peregrine's home for peculiar children', I loved it so much! The movie wasn't as good as the book I read and I'm hoping I can find the time to read the other books sometime. And also because they're so majestic.

Weell the name itself means farmer and it comes from greek name Georgios. Also the guy that killed the dragon to save the prinsess was called pyhä Yrjö saint Yrjö

I dont know we dont belive in saints here and only saint i know is bishop Henrik who was killed on ice cause he tried to spread christianity in finland. Also fun fact the killers Lassi wifes name is Kerttu (:

If i remember correctly Kerttu told her husband Lalli that the bishop hadent paid for food and beer even tougth the bishop threw some money on the ground. Amd the Lalli wemt after Henrik and killed him by axe on Kyöliö lakes ice. Then the Henriks horse ran away and where it stopped a church was build Nousiainen.
Several months ago we had the privilege to adopt a grey seal pup at a seal conservancy centre in The Netherlands. A great experience - in particular for our own two 'pups' at home - to visit and eventually release our seal back into the wild. Last week we received a notice of an orphaned seal pup no older than two days which was welcomed for intake at the centre. Our daughters vigorously pleaded for a second adoption, but the "spot" was already taken. The seal is currently named Matcha and will find shelter at the centre for at least this and possibly next month.
Over 10 years back in time a colleague and I adopted a cheetah at De Wildt / Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre in South Africa. It was always fun to note that "our pet could easily consume yours for lunch". I am not sure whether this possibility still exists at De Wildt, but this may be an option to consider when looking for a new "pet" on distance.
