It is a joy to see a sign of younger generations keeping the metal flame burning. In my youth I have seen many bands of the 90s in their prime - i.e. when band members were not yet eligible to receive a variety of senior citizen benefits. Although my sonic palate has somewhat changed in adulthood, I still find myself unable to resist the temptation to occasionally plug in one of my EMG loaded guitars in a Marshall JCM800 and drive it into heavy distortion.
luckyyyy i love to preserve metal and keep it alive im a huge metal head awesome have you heard of twisted sister and quiet riot by chance
lets all keep metal alive it shall never die out also rest in peace our metal grandfather ozzy osborne too
yess mama im comeing homeee
hehe do you also know quiet riot or twisted sister
Thanks for your reply M2 fan. I do not consider myself a metal head by any standards. But there was something undeniably unique in the 90s: energy and groove. I was at the AFAS show of Pantera last year and despite the early departure of “the brothers” the band remains true to its legacy.
Does any of the two commentators in this thread play guitar? I have tried last year to play the intro of ‘To the flowers’ of While she sleeps - including the unique tuning and the use of two Whammy DT’s - but this remains a tricky one to nail. Unfortunately time comes in limited supply to properly engage this challenge.
whoaa also how was it seeing pantara and yes i do im a beginer
