Australia’s first police force was made up of the best behaved convicts. 😅

We have extremely high number of local speeches which are very different from each other even when they are part of the same dialect family. I struggle to understand people who live 2 hours away from me

Italy has the largest number of UNESCO world heritage sites.

It has three active volcanoes (Etna, Stromboli, Vesuvius).

Two independent microstates within it: San Marino (the oldest republic in the world) and the Vatican City.

It houses the smallest restaurant in the world.

Italian is the fourth most studied language in the world.

We have the smallest village in the world jannum. Only 2 people live there.

Learning German isn’t easy for an English speaker. One challenging word for a beginner is Eichhörnchen, which means squirrel. It uses sounds we don’t have in English. Legend has it that the English invented the word “squirrel “ as revenge, because some German people have trouble with the pronunciation. 😄

We have a place called rectum for real😁😆

In Germany we like it to use crazy long words with around 60 - 80 letters. Not in the daily use but in topics like politics, economy and laws.

For example:

Rinderkennzeichnungsfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz

It was a law. Some people don't know, that it was a real law and not just a joke.

😅

There are some more.

I think it's hard to say it from memory, you need to learn it😂
