(It's been forever since last time I built a forum! ) This forum is for anyone who wants to talk about anxiety. It can be chronic anxiety or conditional anxiety. Maybe you just have some symptoms but are not sure whether you have it. Maybe someone you know is suffering from it. Or maybe you're just anxious about a school presentation, a test or your future in general. Maybe you think about death a lot. Maybe you have zero ability to social in real life. Maybe you care about your body image too much. And maybe you're overthinking like crazy. You can share your experiences, feelings, tips and literally anything here!

(If you don't want to talk about this in a public forum but you really need to talk to someone about anxiety, feel free to text me! We might have some similar experiences. )

Really nice that you are also making forums again @Douglasgao!!!! 😊😊 For me the biggest anxiety is speaking for a group and that they ALL listen and look at you and you feel VERYYY clearly that they hear and see everything and also every mistake. My biggest other anxiety is if you swim in a sea or ocean and you CANT see below you bc everything is dark even if it is maybe not super deep. And even if there are normally not big sharks i just have a very weird feeling abt it and dont feel comfortable abt swimming like that. So i prefer to be where you can stand and that you can at least see the sand and your feet or just in a swimming pool.

Wbu Douglas?? And im also curious to see from others. And if you feel super stressed or anxious this forum is maybe good to read: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/10062-meditation-yoga-and-stress-free-forum BUTTTT for being really anxious i dont think those things are enough bc you can STILL panic. 🙄😬😬

Thank u for sharing! I also feel anxious while speaking in a group, or to individuals that I'm not familiar with. Actually I feel like I'm anxious all the time.

And the part that you're afraid of deep water? I can relate a little bit. For me it's not the depth that makes me anxious, it's the feeling of water touching my body all the time. Flowing water is a lot better. That's why I hate swimming and taking bath.

For me, I'm anxious of how I look and how I speak. Looking into a mirror makes me nauseous. The concept of death makes me anxious a lot as well. For years I would think of death at night and how it's inevitable and I would so terrified that I can't sleep. Any death-related series or movies will make me super uncomfortable. I would try to pull out my hair while facing something stressful. I'm afraid of talking to others as well. Even when some strangers are talking about the topic I'm interested in, I'm too anxious to join the conversation.

The way I deal with my anxiety is to talk with AI. Chatgpt can comfort me and tell me what to do.

I think it is super brave that you say that bc that is NOTTTT easy. Sometimes when you speak for a group like presentation in the class you can be with others and then it feels less scary but if you are alone i had first that you feel better after a few minutes. But one time i felt NOT better after few minutes and then i panicked a bit abt that and now every time i feel like that time and not the other times.

And for water is it bc you are afraid that you can drown or maybe feeling or smt else?

If you want to talk abt topics that you like but you dont want that with friends or in school than maybe you can do just in the forum. Bc that is maybe a LOTTT easier and most ppl are nice if they react so maybe that is even better than AI or you can do both if you want that.

And for you 😊😊🥳🎊🎉

Thank u yue! Happy year of horse to u too!

And no I don't think that I hate swimming because I could drown. I just hate the feeling of water around me. It's weird lol.

Also it's easier to chat with strangers online because I don't feel being stared at! I will definitely try my best to talk to more people in real life over time though.

For me it is walking where their are a lot of people , thats why i like the woods and nature
