Hello everyone! I've been off this site for a lot of time since the Holidays because we’ve been visiting family and doing stuff. How are you all?

Questions for today:

Would you bring with you for a trip to Brazil?

What are some general tips for traveling abroad?

Many family members and friends have been to Brazil in the last few years and they’ve come to realize they don’t usually need so much!

Also Brazilian people are so friendly and chill there will always be a solution to everything! (Keep in mind we are from Argentina, it’s relatively close to us and we can understand each other’s languages)

What are some suggestions from you?

Insect/mosquito repellents with (ideally 40%) DEET
Betadine ointment
Anti-diarrhoeals
Paracetamol
Ibuprofen
First aid kit
Malaria tablets
Regular medication
ORS
Vitamin pills
Azaron stick
Tiger Balm
Travel tablets
Blister plasters no thick clothing, summer clothing and light jacket. don't bring expensive jewelry

Holaaa @martutuni!! 🙂 It is very nice that you are back!! I have never visited Brazil. But I know that @Fleurke and @Simone724 like to go to Brazil!!

These are my answers:

I think summer clothes and for the beach because it is always warm. And maybe a travel book about Brazil and a dictionary. And i have no idea what else and if it is safe to go to Brazil or not.

Call with the airline so you can sit together even if it does not work online. And ask maybe on the forum for tips because we have several travel forums! See for example: Scotland forum, New York forum and Amsterdam forum. 🙂 Or search members from Brazil and just ask questions what you like to know about the country!!

Maybe if you go to Brazil you can give nice tips in this forum when you come back!! 🏖️✈️🌈🌞

A hidden gem that you may want to add to your itinerary is the National Park Lençóis Maranhenses. Make sure to explore this magical part of northern Brazil just after the wet season. Natural lagoons provide a glittering and colourful awe against the background of massive pearl white sand dunes and the Atlantic coast line. Swimming in the lagoons and witnessing a sunset on horseback or driving a quad are unforgettable experiences.

Should you intend to relive Avatar or any other exotic scene of your favourite movie, please consider Jalapão as the "once in a lifetime getaway". A further explanation is not needed, but have a preview online what is still somewhat unchartered territory in Brazil.

Enjoy your stay!
