The construction of the bridge has been talked about for 70 years. I don't know if it will be built. The costs are very high, the area is highly seismic and the damage to the environment would be very great. There is a very long list of problems. I have many doubts. I had opened a forum on this topic.

Oh sorry i missed that forum!! Is it in italian? 🙂 Seismic means earthquakes right. So if you build the bridge an earthquake can destroy it easily. And in the article they also mentioned the environment and costs. But it can also help the people in sicily if they can be reached easier. So it is a difficult thing to decide maybe.
