a life after covid? Will that time ever come?

Nothing will change. I don't believe anymore that the human race is aware enough. Not before Covid. Not after.

Change? Mankind is just like hamster running on a wheel of same incidents. All we do, is nothing but being proud of our "progress."

I think there will be changes but the changes will be regional as opposed to worldwide for the most part. The one thing that will change for everyone is global travel. I'm afraid it's going to become more difficult and more expensive to travel as freely as we did before the pandemic.

I just read that Taiwan has reached 200 days without a locally transmitted case of Covid-19, so it is possible to contain the virus and prevent it from spreading. I think that countries and regions that are able to do this will emerge as some of the strongest economies in 2021. Other regions such as the US where I live and some people can't accept the guidance on how to reduce the impact of the virus will plunge into deeper financial crisis. It will be interesting to see how our economic crisis will affect other countries which usually get a lot of money from us.

Regions with robust suppression of virus spread will be able to get back to normal education I doubt the health system here in the US will have any considerable changes because of Covid but pre-existing conditions might take on a new importance to millions of people so that might drive change. Elsewhere, I think they don't have health systems that are as bad as ours so I'm not sure what will happen there. Culturally the US might be more aware of illness and start using some of the spread prevention techniques (masks) that other countries have been using for years, but I somewhat doubt it. I don't think humanity will change overall unless the virus gets more virulent. Unfortunately nature and other animals will pretty much continue to exist with the same dangers that they have before.

I think that some businesses will become stronger and more advanced than others thanks to technology's development; artisanal works and some more kind of work will be undeveloped even if in every country represents the only thing for survival.
Par consequence, some economies will be stronger than others and some countries will be richer than others.
In my opinion, after this pandemic situation, people will become more respectful and empathic than was before and more responsible, of course; respectful and responsible to animals, life, humans, environments and biodiversities.
People will start appreciate everything they have, more than ever.

I believe that the world economy will be at peak and many public health will be bankrupt, I would not want to create panic but I have the feeling that with the world economy collapsing a third world war could start, also look at the reports bad between the US and Iran, China, North Korea and Russia. Or between France and Turkey or between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Certainly after the Covid, world tourism will have dropped drastically due to the economic conditions of tourists
