hey there, what's the most popular instant messaging apps in your region?
in Turkey it's certainly WhatsApp and Telegram. also people would communicate over instagram a lot.
privacy-focused people would tend to use Signal or (in very rare cases) Threema but they sure are in the minority

In france, we often use Snapchat, Instagram, Whatsapp or Twitter...

I don’t know why, but a large part of french people don’t like Facebook, because it’s « for old people »... I totally disagree. It is used by all my friends...

I use WhatsApp daily, but when I don't have the number of the person, I use Instagram.
I don't really like Facebook, I think it's a too "personal social network", I mean that you often write your last name, for example, and everyone can know all of your life (schools where you went, your birthday, your relationship...)
And I recently deleted Snapchat, I don't like that way of sending only pictures...

In Italy, we mostly use WhatsApp and Instagram

As Marta said in Italy Facebook and Instagram are used more but I see that the new generations use Tik Tok
