What is the word for cheese in your language?

In belgium it is kaas

Fermaj

Sir

Juusto

Depending on what you're talking about in Assam specifically, if your talking about Paneer it's just "Paneer" but it's pronounced like "ponir", if you're talking about the milk solids after boiling and curdling milk it's called "Channa" but without the "ch" sound but rather a "s" sound, if you're just talking about the cheese found in west, it's like the English word "Cheese" but pronounced as "cheej". I'll add the words:

পনীৰ — Paneer (pronounced: Ponir)

ছানা — Channa/milk solids (Pronounced: Sana)

চীজ — Cheese (pronounced: Cheej)

Formaggio (italian)

@Torakka and @Korisnik waaauw i didt know that ,thank you

wahahhahh ok it is just kaas!!!! 😛 😛

But tbh i dont really eat it a lot bc if i see yellow cheese in my head it is just like mini cube with yellow fat. And white cheese or blue cheese is terrible smell and if it smells like that i CANT eat it before feeling also blue or mega white like ghost!!!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫👻

@Yue_ im in love with cheese haha

In French we say "fromage"

In standard Arabic, we say "الجبن" (Al-jubn), but in the Algerian dialect we say "فرماج" (Formaj), it derives from the French word.
