This may be a sensitive topic for people who have dealt with s3lf h@rm, and this has been especially hard for me too.
For those who do not know, World Semicolon Day (started in 2013), observed annually on April 16th, is a mental health awareness day dedicated to su!c!d3 prevention and supporting those struggling with s3lf-h@rm, add!ct!on, or d3pr3ssion. The semicolon ( ; ) represents a sentence an author could have ended but chose not to, symbolizing hope and the decision to continue one's story.
I kindly ask you, if you are any of these people, dealing with anything written above, please, write a semi-colon on your wrist.
I just saw it too here@Charlie_IsUrBsf but i think it is really good that u post abt it here so ppl know!! ❣️❣️❣️ For u and anybody who struggle with it in ANYYY way the biggest HUGGSSSS 🤗🤗 and u can reach out to anybody here on the forum or who u want or like!!! 🙏🎀⭐
Sorryyyy to write again @Charlie_IsUrBsf but do ppl talk abt this day in schools in ur country, bc we did not discuss it AT ALLLL in our school. But we do talk abt the topic in other ways and also other super important things like not being excluded and depression and weight problems also if u have for example anorexia and what u can do. And in my country there is also a phone line for if u want to talk abt things but ANONYMOUS and if u really struggle with stuff. So if ur not an adult u can talk with smb on it if u want to or have super low feelings. That is really important!! 🌸✨
