➡️ Do u maybe have a question for the list?

Thnxx very much for anybody who wants to answer the questions or just post what u think. I was chatting with Mr. Aaaa @Dracula and he helped also with some questions like 3 and also abt 2. 🙂 Many thanks everybody!!!!! 🙏🙏❤️🥰❤️

Édité par Yue_ .

I don't go to the gym there is a treadmill in my house but I sadly don't use it bc I don't have motivation.

skipping this bc I answered the first one

skipping this too

my diet isn't very good I have an eating disorder

yesssss but it is very hard for me to keep up with it bc I have sensitive skin and barely anything works for meeeeee

I think yoga and meditation is very good for calming down though I have never tried it

I think I don't sleep enough every day IDK it depends I get like maybe 6 or 7 hours (pun intended)

yea sometimes

nope

1️⃣ Do u go to the gym for fitness or do u prefer maybe another sport?

I don't go to the gym, but I work out at home sometimes. I fence as a sport, so I mostly do fencing stretches to prepare for my classes, but my basement also has a punching bag and I have other exercises I do.

4️⃣ Are you careful with your diet every day? And what is important for you for your diet? And are u allergic for some things?

Not really. I obviously don't want to get fat so I don't eat more than I should, if I'm full I stop eating, but I don't track anything and I don't worry too much when I eat a snack. I'm not allergic to any foods, but I do have some religious restrictions.

5️⃣ Do u think skin care is important?

Yes and no. It's not necessary but it's still nice every once in a while. I just don't like that I have to do it myself and spend a ton of money on it, so I don't really bother with it.

6️⃣ What do u think of yoga or meditation or maybe more art sport like ballet?

For yoga and meditation, I wouldn't want to practice it myself because it doesn't do anything for me, but I think that people should try it at least once because it's true that it can really help with your health and overall wellbeing for some people. And more artistic sports are great, I'd love to try them someday, like artistic swimming or ice skating... it just looks so majestic.

7️⃣ Do u speel enough every day? How many hrs do you sleep during the week?

I sleep enough, some people even think I sleep too much. But I get the sleep I need and I like to sleep, so I don't mind spending a lot of time on it as long as it doesn't affect my academical performance or my health. I sleep about 10 hours every day, so for a week that would make 70 hours.

8️⃣ Do you read things abt mental health online or other health forums or sites?

Not really, but psychology videos keep popping up on my YouTube and I watch them because they're interesting.

1️⃣ Do u go to the gym for fitness or do u prefer maybe another sport?

I wish I could go to the gym… I used to go there two years ago, but I’m too afraid of people making fun of me when I go there… 😕 So after my year subscription ended I didn’t subscribe again…

2️⃣ If u go to the gym: what do u think of ppl there? And what do u like to do (for example with machines or super big weights)? And do u maybe have tips of ppl do that for the first time and they are nervous abt others in the gym??

I’m part of the people who are nervous about the gym… 😅 I wish I could give advices, but I have no program because I know nothing about exercise… I don’t know what exercises are great for losing weight, nor do I know how to use the machines… And I’m afraid people might stare at me like I’m lost in the middle of a jungle trying random machines… 😔

3️⃣ Question from @Dracula: Why would you start with the gym again?

Because I want to lose weight. Being overweight is not got for me at all. Obesity is good for no one. It leads to diseases from which I’m trying to run away. What’s more is that I don’t feel beautiful being overweight… I feel people have a different perspective on overweight people… Like contempt or something. I don’t want it…

4️⃣ Are you careful with your diet every day? And what is important for you for your diet? And are u allergic for some things?

Yes, and fortunately I did, because I lost 12kg in two years… But now I’m stuck. I feel like my body isn’t losing fat anymore. That’s because I don’t do sports enough, but I genuinely want to do sport that will REALLY help me lose weight and not just tire myself for nothing.

5️⃣ Do u think skin care is important?

Yes, it also plays a role in diet. For a good looking skin, one needs a good diet. And I know that some people even with a good diet also need some products too. In either case it’s cool.

6️⃣ What do u think of yoga or meditation or maybe more art sport like ballet?

I never really thought about it, because it isn’t my cup of tea. I prefer sports where I move, where I walk distances, where I can lose weight too. When you’re overweight, yoga or dance figures are hard, trust me 😅

7️⃣ Do u speel enough every day? How many hrs do you sleep during the week?

I sleep enough but sometimes university is stealing my sleep time because I need to get up early… But overall I’m having quite a good sleep.

8️⃣ Do you read things abt mental health online or other health forums or sites?

I never check about health online, as some websites tell toi general things that lead to misunderstanding. Once I entered the Internet because I had a headache, and the Internet started showing me about how it could be a grave disease 😬 At the end it was nothing, but still, I’m not entering the internet for health things. Only my doctor.

➡️ Do u maybe have a question for the list?

What would you genuinely advise for someone who’s trying to lose weight ?

1-i go to the gym for cardion and building muscle. Also doing mixed martial arts etc

2- the gym where i go to is small so easy to get connected with people.i use machines and heavy weights etc. I would say go to a gym with a friend or so. It helps as u are not alone and maybe feel more comfy

3- staying fit and it helps mentally as well. Or losing weight etc. I think people who go to gym whatever the goal is,are inspiration.altough i dont like the guys and girls that are ego boosting themselves

4- i eat lots of proteine, rice, veggies, meat all that helps to keep me strong and fit. No soda or burgers, sugar etc

5-yes taking care of body and soul and skin therefore too

6- i meditate every day for several reasons. Sometimes many hours. Yoga yes. Ballet no and no yue i wont start😆😁🫠

7- i have insomnia so i hardly sleep but i am used to it and it helps in many other ways too

8- yes i read a lot about it,take it in and make my own schedules, plans etc.😁

Thnxx very much everybody who wrote above!!! 🙏🙏😊🥰 We almost have to go now so i cant write a lot but i wanted to say to @Sabri_KC that maybe swimming is nice bc for me i also got a tip to maybe swim bc u get more muscle. Or more mass from the muscle if that is the English word. Bc if u weigh not enough it is important that ur muscle get stronger and they said a good way to do that is swimming bc it is for ur whole body and also u can do as long or short as u want. EXCEPTTT that it can also be really expensive but still maybe it is nice tip that u can use i hope. 🙂

And i added ur question to the list!!! 😛 😛

1️⃣ Do u go to the gym for fitness or do u prefer maybe another sport?

Yes i go to the gym and exercise at my home for my own personal health and fitness

2️⃣ If u go to the gym: what do u think of ppl there? And what do u like to do (for example with machines or super big weights)? And do u maybe have tips of ppl do that for the first time and they are nervous abt others in the gym??

I don't pay attention to the people much there as a woman who focuses on legs, lunges and squats etc. I do notice the stares I get from guys but I don't pay much attention. Occasionally guys will come up and talk to me, some friendly and some hitting on me. I keep the convos to a minimum to get my workout done. My advice to women is if that stuff bothers you, invest in some equipment and do workouts at home!

3️⃣ Question from @Dracula: Why would you start with the gym again?

Personally I've always had body insecurities especially after having a baby so that always motivates me

4️⃣ Are you careful with your diet every day? And what is important for you for your diet? And are u allergic for some things?

Ive actually had an eating disorder since i was a teen. I can gain or lose 20lbs in a month so my diet changes drastically. I've learned to live with it. And I have no allergies.

5️⃣ Do u think skin care is important?

Yessss I have a daily skin care routine!

6️⃣ What do u think of yoga or meditation or maybe more art sport like ballet?

I do yoga and meditation daily! So relaxing for the mind, body, and soul!

7️⃣ Do u speel enough every day? How many hrs do you sleep during the week?

I hope to get 6 hours a night. It's enough for me

8️⃣ Do you read things abt mental health online or other health forums or sites?

yes all over

➡️ New question from @Sabri_KC: What would you genuinely advise for someone who’s trying to lose weight ?

Diet is EVERYTHING!!! Learn to count calories it's the most sure fire way for the average person to lose weight

1 I like the gym have since I was 15

2 machines are safer I prefer free weights the people in the gym will help you if you ask or staff some people do stare as a one lady said on here most people are pretty cool tho we were all nervous and didn’t know how machines or free weights it’s all trial and error I read one dudes post on here about what if people make fun of him there’s all types of people that go some have chronic health issues there gp has told them to go so I wouldn’t worry about what others think it’s your body your goals fuck em

3 some find it boring i wanted to get big that was my goal I love the training lol

4 no I just eat lol I eat good food example chicken rice steak and rice but if I feel like Chinese I’ll have it or maccas kfc whatever when I diet it’s for a couple of months

5 Yes I think skin care is important I have sensitive skin I have only used Nivea lol

6 I think yoga would be awesome for me in particular I have not much flexibility even though I use full range of motion when training

7 I have no clue how many hours I sleep in a week a lot lol

8 I try not too read much on mental heath i heard once that if your depressed no one is going to hear you from your bedroom go to a cafe have coffee you don’t have to talk just sit and watch people most people are feeling no different than you

9 diet and cardio what ever you like walk swim bike you don’t have to kill yourself the goal is to keep moving 😎✌️

An interesting post that may be of interest to middle aged and older athletes: https://www.radboudumc.nl/en/news-items/2026/even-active-athletes-can-develop-cardiovascular-disease

It concerns recent scientific research on long term high intensity training and enhanced risks of developing cardiovascular disease. Nothing to worry about in case of a healthy athletic routine, but it may serve as a cautionary tale in extreme cases.

1️⃣ Do u go to the gym for fitness or do u prefer maybe another sport?

I dont go to the gym but i do ballet (ONLY classical and not modern or jazz normally) and i bike to school every day and back.

2️⃣ If u go to the gym: what do u think of ppl there? And what do u like to do (for example with machines or super big weights)? And do u maybe have tips of ppl do that for the first time and they are nervous abt others in the gym??

From what i see sometimes i think that SOME gym ppl can be really intimidating from how they do and talk and it is for me a reason not to go to the gym bc i would not feel comfortable at all. Bc even if is only few and not all who are like that they can be intimidating and u see them the most from everybody there bc of how they do.

3️⃣ Question from @Dracula: Why would you start with the gym again?

I prefer other sports more and i think maybe only gym if u have an injury and u need gym to make some things stronger so u can deal with it.

4️⃣ Are you careful with your diet every day? And what is important for you for your diet? And are u allergic for some things?

YESSSS. So i dont want too fatty foods and i prefer healthy foods over anything that makes u like a giant panda or at least how i wud feel in my head abt myself. I dont know if it is allergy but if i eat red meats i get stings in my belly like smb puts a needle in ur belly. So i just dont eat red meats ever anymore.

5️⃣ Do u think skin care is important?

Yessss of course. BUTTT u need to be super careful it has not too much chemicals so normally if u can get with more bio and natural (so it is still not 0% but less than others) it is much better. And also quality so we dont normally use most cheaper Chinese brands but Korean skin care is normally better. And also ur diet is VERYYY important for ur skin and also how much water u drink.

6️⃣ What do u think of yoga or meditation or maybe more art sport like ballet?

I think ballet is BOTHH a sport but also really art. And i would like to do yoga and meditation.

7️⃣ Do u sleep enough every day? How many hrs do you sleep during the week?

Normally i try to go to sleep now at 22:00 hrs and i get up at 7 during the week.

8️⃣ Do you read things abt mental health online or other health forums or sites?

Yes but it is also difficult to know what u can trust. So for example the most i doubt are some posts on YT even if they post almost every day. But more official sites that u can trust yes of course. But mostly abt specific things.

➡️ New question from @Sabri_KC: What would you genuinely advise for someone who’s trying to lose weight ?

Like i said maybe swimming is nice bc it is for ur WHOLE body so i think i wud do that. And of course ur diet is super important and u feel much better i think if u skip fatty and sugar foods bc is also like toxic for ur body.

Thnxxxx very much everyody who posted!!!!! ❤️🏆❤️
