In your scenario, would women lay only one egg at a time like monotremes or would they lay a clutch of eggs like birds?

But in both cases, childbirth would probably be much shorter and less painful. Pregnancies would also be shorter, I think.

Oviparous means a creature lays eggs instead of birthing already formed babies.

Oww sorryy never heard of that before also not in our English class ever. But if u lay eggs that would be super weird!!! And i think like now is better bc if u have a baby IN you then u also want to do everything for the baby and already take care what u can. And that way u can also love ur baby 10000000000 times more!!! So for me i would prefer like now EVEN when giving birth would be maybe one of scariest things EVER!!!!!!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😬😬
