Hello everyone! 🌏
I thought it would be fun to share a bit about the everyday life and customs where we live. Whether it’s something unique you do each day, a tradition passed down in your family, or an interesting local custom, I’d love to hear about it.

Do you have any cultural or family traditions that are special to you?

This is a really nice forum i think!! 🙂 Ok so we have a LOTTT of traditions and things that we do so i can give two examples. Like a simple one is that we always take off our shoes in our house and also ask guests if they maybe dont mind that they do that. And we have extra soft slippers (so not the hard ones) so you dont get super cold feet and it is more comfortable.

And a second tradition is that we have in mini altar and it is in the living room bc that is the most important room. And on it are photos of for example family who died and we put a holder for incense so you burn sometimes for them and also mini plates with foods that they like or with water or tea. So you can serve it to them what they liked. 🥰❤️⭐🌈💞

Wbu @nichohman60123 about traditions and customs from you? 🙄🙄

I’m from Belguim 🇧🇪

Something we do here is xmos. Its a day were the people who will graduate (18 year olds) celebrate their last 100 days of school. Every school celebrates it different but ussualy everyone wears costumes the whole week. On friday they do things like spraying with waterguns, coloring peoples hair, drinking the whole day at school and perform a kind of show for the other students were they laugh with teachers and stuff.

Thats Belgizn culture 😉
