They used TV, radio, video games, music and other media to control people. They're extremely good at mass brainwashing and are said to be responsible for every major war, mishap and other events that happened.

The year they were probably formed in is currently unknown. However it could be the 17th century.

The symbol of the Illuminati is a pyramid with an eye on it.

The US Dollar bill has the symbol on it.

That symbol is called The "Eye of Providence." Originally the Eye of Providence was a Christian symbol, and the earliest examples of its use can be found in religious art of the Renaissance period to represent God and it was invented as a sign of God’s compassionate watchfulness over humanity. In post-revolutionary France, Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier’s 1789 The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen featured the text of the radical new declaration with the Eye of Providence at the top. In this case, it has become an instrument of paternalistic reason watching over the newly egalitarian nation. In 1782 the Great Seal of the United States of America was unveiled. Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams had proposed ideas for the design, but it was Charles Thomson, Secretary of the Continental Congress, who came up with the pyramid and Eye of Providence, among the other elements of the seal, in collaboration with a young lawyer and artist named William Barton. The unfinished pyramid was intended to symbolise “strength and duration”, with 13 levels to represent the 13 original states of America. The Eye of Providence – like the other two examples from the same period in Britain and France – was a conventional symbol for God’s sympathetic oversight of this fledgling nation. In none of those examples was Freemasonry involved with the choice of symbol. However, Neither Masons, nor Illuminati used the Eye of Providence symbol widely until at least the late 18th Century, and not before Bentham, Le Barbier, Thomson and Barton had adopted it for their very mainstream purposes.

Maybe it is stupid but i never hear about Illuminati before!! But how we know that is really that group behind everything? Is there proof that we can know it? And why a pyramid as symbol? Is it from Egypt the group?

I read Wikipedia and decided to make an easy to understand version of the article for PPG University.

Maybe they still have a building that you can visit and talk to them. Or is it like secret only and that members hide?
