    Hello, I’m 23 years old, queer and live in Darmstadt, Germany. I am working at a doctors office and will start studying cognitive science this year. Because I love space exploration and scientific research, I hope to work for the ESA (European Space Agency) one day. I like to explore things unknown (to me 🙂), spend time with animals, read books or play the piano. I love classical music, but I enjoy a variety of music genres. I find happiness in cycling, hiking and occasionally doing yoga. I feel most comfortable in nature and it's also my favourite place to take photos (I’m an amateur photographer: https://flickr.com/photos/(email hidden)).

    I am currently searching for preferably female penpals.
    After getting to know someone, I like to write long and personal letters. I'm all about sharing openly and honestly with people and having meaningful conversations. So feel free to tell me about yourself. I’d like to hear what's on your mind and what's occupying you.
    A little disclaimer: I have ADHD, which is why I have phases in which I’m obsessed with penmanship and write lots of long letters, followed by months in which I don’t answer any.

    I rent a PO box to exchange physical letters with people - I’m not looking for people to write online with.
    Also, I prefer to start writing letters with someone quickly, rather than chatting online. (Please be patient if I’m not answering your online messages (or letters) immediately. It’s not intended or personal, I sometimes just forget about it.)

    I have a personality that would rather be called modern (tolerant, queer, interested in modern technology and science...), but I much prefer the old aesthetics. My room is full of historical objects and furniture, and I can read and write the old german font (Suetterlin) which was used until ca.1930. (I would love to find someone with whom I can exchange letters written in Suetterlin.)

  • Libri/autori/film preferiti

    I adore Science Fiction and classics, but I also enjoy random older books (who usually nobody knows about) or fantasy from time to time. Books I enjoyed recently were “Never Let Me Go” by Kazuo Ishiguro and „The Bell Jar“ by Sylvia Plath. One of my all time favorite authors is Franz Kafka (with whom I share a birthday).
    Currently I‘m trying to get more into sapphic literature. I found the Locked Tomb Series by Tamsyn Muir and I love it.

    My favorite movies are Interstellar, Oppenheimer and Emma, polar opposites in my opinion but one thing they have, which I like, is that they managed to master every aspect of film - the acting, the music, the cinematography… - also I think music is very important for a movie and I adore their soundtracks (I particularly love Hans Zimmer).
    Currently my favourite series is „For all mankind“. It's about NASA and space travel, but it's alternative history. The first episode starts out with Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov being the first to set foot on the moon.
    My all time favorite series was the german production „Dark“, which centers around time traveling.

    I‘ve visited Austria the most because my family likes to hike and that‘s our go-to place to take hiking-vacations.

    The furthest I‘ve been from home was Australia. I was an exchange student and lived there for only two months.

  • Adoro parlare di...

    I like to talk about almost everything as long as it's not superficial. I like to have long talks and write long letters in which we can analyse a topic and exchange opinions.
