  • Something to tell the world!

Hi, strangers and welcome to my profile! I think it's nice to talk with people from different countries, so here I am. You can write me in Italian (it's my mother tongue), English, Spanish, French and German. What more can I say? Hope to hear from you soon!

P.S. Shoot me a message before sending a friend request, so we can get to know each other better. Many thanks and have a nice day!

  • My interests in other cultures

Way of life and language are the things I'm interested in learning about other cultures. I think that language is the most important instrument to get in touch with people from other countries. I love how words sound in different languages and I'm fascinated by idiomatic expressions that make every language unique.

  • I always enjoy talking about...

Books, music, art, cinema. But if you want to talk about something else, that's okay!

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    - Books -
    "Madame Bovary" by Gustave Flaubert.
    "Bel-Ami" by Guy de Maupassant.
"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
    - Authors -
Edgar Allan Poe and Anton Chekhov.
    - Films -
"All About My Mother", "Talk to Her" and "Volver" by Pedro Almodóvar.
"Shining", "A Clockwork Orange" and "Full Metal Jacket" by Stanley Kubrick.
"Pulp Fiction", "Reservoir Dogs", "Kill Bill - Volume 1" and "Kill Bill - Volume 2" by Quentin Tarantino.

  • I recently learnt...

Better safe than sorry. I'm kidding. Actually, I have learned it a long time ago.

  • My proudest accomplishments

My indipendent thought. I've always wanted to be different since I was a teenager. I've never cared what others think about me and I hate follow the trend. I don't like clichés, preconceived truths, labels and categories. I think that all these things are quite useless.

  • Life regrets

The time I wasted on people who didn't deserve it.
The things I have given up for fear or lack of confidence in myself.

  • I'm excited about...

My freedom. It's one of the most precious things in life.

  • I feel concerned about...

I don't want to live an ordinary life. I'm really worried about it!

  • A personal challenge

Keep being an authentic person. I think it's worth it.
Learn to not look back in anger (like a song that I love says).

  • I'm an expert at...

Remembering things (yes, yes, I really have a good memory).

  • Something uncommon about me

I'm shy (too much!), a little insecure, wary, fussy, realistic (sometimes pessimistic), rational (but I'm also a dreamer). I always analyze everything: if I don't do it, I feel lost. I'm an INTJ personality type. Well, these things probably don't make me unique. I'm sure you're thinking I'm weird but come on... Don't hesitate and text me!

  • Childhood pleasures

I used to spend my time dreaming with my eyes open. My dreams were so huge... Nothing could have contained them. It was so easy!

  • My feeling about the future

My thought toward future swings forward and backward between positiveness and negativeness. But I'm sure one day it will stops on the first one.

  • Living abroad for one year

    New York!
Like John Lennon said: "If I'd lived in Roman times, I'd have lived in New York. Where else? Today, America is the Roman Empire and New York is Rome itself".

  • 10 years from now

I will be around the world. I think that the world is too big and beautiful, so how could I stay in the same place?
Will I have found my wonderwall?

  • Over or underrated

I think nineties are underrated. I grew up in this decade and sometimes I feel nostalgic. The feeling that anything could have happened. Hope was real hope, amazement was real amazement. One foot in the past and one foot in the future. It was magic.

  • A trick or piece of advice

    Stay away from toxic people.

  • My opinion on human nature

    Human being: handle with care.

  • Making the world a better place

The world would be a better place if we all stop thinking in platitudes.
