I'm a 17-year-old female, and I live in Portland, United States .

I speak English, Chinese (Mandarin) and a tiny bit of Spanish.

• Favourite books/authors/films

  I love to watch TV shows, especially ones made for kids. I know it's weird but I like them! I watch Disney Channel and my favorite show from them is most likely Liv and Maddie or Jessie. If you like watching Disney too don't hesitate to reach out!
  Also I just got into watching Avatar the Last Airbender and let me tell you, that is probably my ALL TIME FAVORITE TV show. If you watch avatar too please talk to me I am a huge fan, and maybe just a little obsessed.

• I recently learnt...

  I recently learned about pen pals and writing letters to other people seems extremely exciting! I am open to write to people from around the world, and I really would like to connect to other people! Message me if you would like to start writing letters, or just simply message each other! I love to connect with people and having a pen pal or someone to talk to would be amazing.

• Personal skills

  Some skills I have are figure skating, MUN, playing the cello, and ballet. I like listening to really old 2010s classics to bring back the nostaligia
  Figure skating is a big part of my life and I compete around the US. I also get opportunities to train in other parts of my country. I spend a lot of my time and energy on this sport. I've been skating for around 10 years now!
  I started doing Model United Nations (MUN) and I absolutely love it! I've been to a few conferences and they're really fun <3
  I love playing minecraft, especially multi player survival.

• Cities and countries I have visited

  I have traveled all over the United States, as well as visited China many times. Visiting China every few years is a family tradition, and that has been spectacular. I have been to Paris once, which was one of my favorite trips I ever took. I have also been to Mexico, Cuba, Haiti, The Carribean, and Canada. I have always wanted to go to Italy, and visit Rome and the Vatican.

• My interests in other cultures

  I am very interested in learning about new cultures and people, and I thought that during quarantine I should get a pen pal to learn more about others! Social Studies is one of my favorite topics, and studying geography has been one of my favorite hobbies.

• My proudest accomplishments

  I am a figure skater, and some of my proudest accomplishments were when I succeeded at important competitions in that category such as regionals and sectionals.
  I am in middle school, however, my school sadly forces us to do finals. One of my greatest achievements was when I was in 6th grade and I survived my first expirience of finals.
  Another one of my greatest achievements was winning an Outstanding Delegate Award in YMUN (Yale Model United Nations)
