Something to tell the world!
I am open to casual messages here, but I think longer emails might be better for that "pen-pal" experience. But I'm okay with either!✌️I'm here to make friends and have interesting conversations. I made an account here years ago but only recently came back. I always love talking about art and design--either video game/film design and costume design or sometimes art history, but if you want to talk about other things I would love to listen! I would like to learn Turkish, and perhaps Italian. But I am not conversational with either yet. Perhaps in a year or two!
Right now, I love interior design and I love learning about architectural movements and interior design movements. I'm currently collecting Architectural Digest issues and enjoy watching long essay videos on those topics and their history. I have recently bought a book on architectural styles of American houses, for example. I am also looking for artists similar to Edward Hopper, so if you know any (old and current) who like to paint modern cityscapes, please send me a message!
I am also taking an interest in nice clothes, but I am not any kind of fashion history or textile expert. But if you are enthusiastic about it, I think I would be a willing audience!
Other basic things: 1st gen immigrant to the US (arrived at age 6). I like taking photos! I am currently dedicated to enriching my life by paying attention to its small details and improving my more personal skills: cooking delicious food and trying new recipes, painting, and looking for interesting things to do in my city.
