I'm a 45-year-old female, and I live in Málaga, Spain .

I speak English, Spanish, some French, and a tiny bit of Chinese (Mandarin).

  England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales. Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, China (only Beijing and Shanghai)

• My proudest accomplishments

  Learning the bad and good about my self and others and surviving making the most of it.
  Emigrating to foreign countries where I did not have friends, arrived with little money and came out with a career, a good bunch of fantastic friends, very useful experiences and great academic qualifications.
  I do also feel proud of always trying to be there for those that needed me and managing to survive my own anarchic and impetuous curiosity. I always want to do too many things and that sometimes wears me off. But wasting time and getting bored scares me more than getting tired.
  I´d love to travel a lot more though

• My interests in other cultures

  I love languages, not as a challenge or way to show off but as a door to experience the world from other perspectives.
  Some words are beautiful, some are deceiving, but all are a testimony to people´s creativity. I started learning languages through the window of cinema, art and music, and because I fell in love with some writers. I felt I could understand them and I have always been a mix of a dancer and library nerd.
  So visuals and words are my planes and trains when I cannot travel physically to experience and witness other people´s creativity and landscapes

  Finding what makes students tick and getting people motivated to learn. Finding solutions to communicative gaps in translation. Building bridges between people and making them work together. I am an expert in interpreting texts and analysing information, simplifying it.
  But also in putting my leg on it in social interactions and mending it. Too impulsive and sincere, what can I say.
