  • Something to tell the world!

    Hello there! Thanks for alloting your precious time to click on my profile. My name is Allen. I'm a 23-year-old mathematics student and a part-time math and science tutor from the Philippines.

    I love talking to people from different places and knowing different cultures because it helps me understand more about the world we are living in. Partly, being unable to do much during these challenging times brought me here so maybe I can do something worthwhile.

    I'm a geography, history, science, and math nerd plus reading a lot, watching educational documentaries, and educational game shows help me broaden my knowledge.

    I also love gospel, classical, orchestral, alternative rock, and symphonic metal music which is an unusual combination of musical preferences but I find interest in all of those. I play some instruments like drums and piano as well. I'm also a sports junkie. My favorite shows are Jeopardy! and The Amazing Race.

    I'm a timid person and afraid of socializing but I'm trying to be a better social being. That's why I decided to be here.

    I love general knowledge and trivia. I'm pretty good at mental math. I know a lot about world geography. I already can play drums when I was a kid and I learn the piano myself without formal studies. I'm trying to be better at sudoku. I want to learn more about world history. I can solve 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 Rubik's cubes.

  • I wish people knew more about...

    I do wish that people should know more about history regardless of the country where they came from. There's a popular saying, "People who don't learn about history are bound to repeat itself." but by learning more about it, people will know what were the mistakes of the past and be able to be wiser in their decisions when they face the same problems similar as before.

  • My proudest accomplishments

    I have passed into the top university in my country.

    I became an MVP in a basketball tournament when I was a kid even though I'm not tall and we won the championship.

    I have won a regional mathematics competition.

    I've already learned how to read English and my native language when I was two years of age.
