• Something to tell the world!

  hi! i'm Anna (she/her) and i'm from America. i'd love to make friends and get to learn about different cultures around the world.
  i am fluent in English and i am also half Japanese, so although i don't live in Japan i can speak it pretty well. i am also taking French in school, so i wouldn't consider myself fluent but I'm practicing every day.
  some of my favorite things to do are read, art, listening to music, and watching Netflix! i've been playing violin since the 5th grade, and i also recently took up guitar and ukulele. my favorite genres are realistic fiction/ fantasy and my favorite shows on netflix are criminal minds and new girl. i've been bingeing marvel during quarantine! i'm obsessed with wandavision and I can't wait for the new movies coming out this year!
  one of my new interests is astrology! it might not be completely accurate all the time, but i think it's a fun topic to dive into. (i'm a leo sun).
  i'm an introverted person, but i love to meet new people and talk about common interests! i don't tolerate any racism, homophobia, or hate towards anyone because of religion, and if you do i'm not interested in chatting with you.

• Favourite books/authors/films

  Being in quarantine has given me a lot of time to explore new books and movies, and I love to talk about it! I've always loved books because it almost feels like I'm traveling to a new world within the book. Some of my favorite books are the Percy Jackson series and the Shatter Me series. I'm a sucker for good enemies to lovers so if you know any good ones, let me know. Besides the Marvel movies, I love comedy/romance/adventure movies! My comfort movies are the Pirates of the Carribean, Lord of the Rings, and Clueless. I'm also a huge Disney fan, and even if the movies/shows are targeted towards little kids, I still love to watch them (Mulan and Tangled are my favorites). I don't explore too much when it comes to films, so if you have any good recommendations, I'd love to hear it!

  I love to talk about things that interest me, but it's also nice to have someone to talk to about deeper topics, so if you just want someone to listen, I can do that too!
