  • Something to tell the world!

I'm here to find new penpals since I really enjoyed doing it some years ago, sadly I lost contact with most of my pals due to less time, moving to different places etc.

I loved to exchange letters about languages, since I learn quite a few at my university (Norwegian, Finnish, Faroese, Lithuanian, a bit of Ukrainian at home, some Italian, and many more [yes I really love languages]).

But also learning about the culture and the everyday life was rewarding and it was also a lot of fun to be able to write in those languages or trying to teach some German in my replies (thinking about how my language actually works was weird but funny at first)

And once you try to describe you recently cooked food in a letter as if you would online, the fun really starts.

I'd be especially happy if your are from the Baltic countries, best would be Lithuania, but the other 2 are most welcome too.
And someone form the Faroe Island would be very much appreciated as well, but this is just a nice to have not a must

Other than languages I have of course other interest. I really love cooking, reading books, watching documentaries, weird movies (asylum has some awesome trash) and netflix, sailing or boating in general and traveling.

So if you think that this crappy introduction is worth giving a shot to know more

  • Cities and countries I have visited

Italy, France, Netherlands, Russia, Norway, Denmark, Finnland, Faroe Islands(one of the most beautiful places on earth), Lithuania, Estonia, Vietnam, Poland, Czech Republic, Malta, Spain

  • My proudest accomplishments

That I made it almost through my second time studying while I have to work in the meantime

  • My interests in other cultures

Especially about the language( I love languages and linguistics), the history and of course the cuisine. nothing better than share recipes and try to eat other tasty food

  • I'm an expert at...

sitting around and reading random stuff. I'm also quite good with languages and cooking

  • A personal challenge

To finish my second undergrad degree and find something interesting afterwards

  • Living abroad for one year

Probably Scandinavia or the Baltic countries, but Italy also sounds promising.
