  • Something to tell the world!

    Hello my name is Philipp, I`m 20 and live in Germany near the french border. I really like visiting different places and learning about their culture and customs. Other than watching TV series or reading books, I also spent a lot of time playing badminton, bicycling and partying with my friends. I`d love to meet new people here and learn new languages (french, italian, polish or some baltic language).

    Hallo ich heiße Philipp. Ich bin 18 Jahre alt und lebe in Deutschland nahe der französischen Grenze. Ich besuche sehr gerne verschiedene Orte und lerne gerne über deren Kulturen. Neben Serien schauen und lesen, spiele ich sehr gerne Badminton, fahre Fahrrad und gehe mit Freunden auf Parties und Feste. Ich würde hier sehr gerne neue leute kennen lernen und neue Sprachen lernen (französisch, italienisch, polnisch oder eine baltische Sprache).

  • Cities and countries I have visited

    I visited many countries in Western and Central Europa. I`d spent a lot of holidays in southern France and northern Italy. Apart from big german cities like Munich and Cologne, I visited Prague, Amsterdam, London and Vienna.

    Ich war in vielen Ländern West- und Mitteleuropas. Besonders oft habe ich in Südfrankreich und Norditalien Urlaub gemacht. Ansonsten habe ich neben deutschen Großstädten wie München und Köln auch Prag, Amsterdam, London und Wien besucht.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    I like reading fantasy books. Aside from George R. R. Martin, my favorite book trilogy is the "broken empire trilogy" by Mark Lawrence. I also really like thriller novels like "and then there were none" by Argatha Christi.
    My favorite movies are "Serenity" and "This is the End" and my favorite TV series are "The 100" and "Vikings".

    Ich lese sehr gerne Fantasybücher. Neben George R. R. Martin ist meine Lieblingsbuchreihe die "Broken Empire" Triologie von Mark Lawrence. Ansonsten lese ich auch sehr gerne Thriller/Horrorromane, wobei mich Argatha Christis "And Then There Were None" begeisert hat.
    Meine Lieblingsfilme sind "Serenity" und "This is the End". Meine Lieblingsserien sind "The 100" und "Vikings".

  • My interests in other cultures

    Ich liebe die italienische Kultur und verbringe sehr gerne Zeit in Italien. Da ich nah an der französischen Grenze lebe, habe ich auch viel Kontakt zu dieser. Ansonsten würde mich Polen und das Baltikum interessieren.
