Age restriction is dead, long live age restriction!

The search engine no longer forces arbitrary age ranges on you based on your age. Now, you can configure age restrictions directly in your account settings.

Here are the default values:
- if you're under 17, only members close to your age have full access to your profile.
- if you're under 20, only members in your generation do.
- for anyone older, there are no default restrictions.

Limited users won't be able to start a conversation with you. However, if you message them first, they will be able to write back.

As always, any feedback is appreciated! (or if you notice something wrong) 😃

Very good 👍

Idk if that is good...:I

What do you mean? You can adjust your settings as you'd like. Before, there was no flexibility. The new system is definitely safer for younger members

In your birthday forum @Pennarossa2024 said that you are still young so the new system is safer for you too!! 😛 😛

Etienne is very young 👶

I like that now on the homepage and you see on the right who are online now. And with the new system today I see a lot of photos from people and I did not even know they are on PPG!! It is much bigger than I thought!!

This has always existed 🤔️

No not with the different ages. So i mean if i am logged in on my laptop and you go to the homepage when you are still online. On the right there are people who are online but that used only be same age and now I see a lot of different people. That is now for the first time today.

Really? For me there were always people who weren’t my age sometimes

For me only few years difference like you or Roseee but I could not see in the overview if anybody older than 18 was online but now that is possible. I like it because i see profiles i did not even know that they were on PPG because they are not active on the forum or we never send messages before. So i like it. 🙂

I get what you mean, I had exactly the same. Now I see people from for example 40 who are online as well, instead of only those in my age range.

@Etienne and @Yue thats good but like yue sayed its good you see the profils im a 48years old women but i also speak with people younger then me on the chat

And what will bring you that? Because everybody who is 10 years older is a pedo??

Exactly!! That is what i meant. 🙂

Yes i also chat with everybody who is nice or fun. But I chat by far the most on the forum and sometimes private. But it can be for example with @Pennarossa2024 or @Fleurke or of course for example @H_E_A_R_T and @Happyvonsee!! So because everytime it is different and I think that makes it nice. 🙂

@Yue it is always pay attention even for me age 48 par exemble if somebody send message private and i dont like what they send i bloque them so for you and the others, who are minnors be always attention

Yes I would tell first if I dont like something but if they would continue i would block that person. But only one time something like that happened and that person was banned from PPG. I did not have that any other time here, but I know only of one other case but that person also got banned. Most times conversations are just nice and everybody is very patient and kind here. At least to me that is what i think. 🙂

I see what you mean, it can be good and bad that this section isn't prefiltered, I will make some adjustments so at least it doesn't suggest wildly different ages by default

@Fleurke make sure you include "_" at the end when you tag Yue_ because "Yue" is a different user and they keep being notified for no reason 😛

Don't rely on this box to find people, use the search engine it is much more efficient 🙂, good night!
