New topic listing look

What do you think of the latest update? Please share what you like or dislike about it (and mention if you're on mobile or desktop). Do you like having the preview of the first message or do you feel like it's unnecessary?

You can now see the number of views and participants for each topic. Also, "updated X time ago" is a link that will take you straight to the end of the thread. Lastly, the last view mode used for the forum is remembered so you don't have to click "latest activity" every time 😛.

I honestly think it's a nice idea, but in practice I don't actually like it. I have the app on my phone, but it takes longer to scroll down and see all the recent topics. For me it was better before.

I LOVE the new update so much!!!!!! It was my dream to see how many people saw each forum. Now we can also think about how many people see the forums but don’t write,i had no idea there were so many

Sounds like removing the previews, at least on mobile, would be a good solution there. Waiting for more opinions on the overall changes 🕑️

@Idkbro : I moved your post to this topic to group feedback together, if that's okay with you. Thank you for your message!

Of course it’s fine!! 🙂

Bonjour monsieur @Etienne!! J'aime les changes but i agree with both @Idkbro and @-Kiki-!! It is nice that you can watch how many people read a forum, how many people posted a comment and the other things which you can now see. But if you go to the homescreen on a laptop or forum on mobile you have to click on load more after already 5 forums. And when you do that it jumps down a lot so you have to scroll back up and find where you were looking.

If you dont have to do that anymore (click load more and scroll back up again to search where you were) i like all the changes! 🙂 So it is très bon but it would be nice if you still have a longer list of latest forum messages. 🙂

This bug will be addressed (yes it's annoying). The limit of 6 on the homepage is expected because most of the time people don't care about forum activity, it's just "bonus" information. On fast connections we could definitely load more, but on slower connections (or for people far from the server) any "unnecessary" data will negatively affect loading times

I think it confrontates people with topics and a preview where maybe only a few ones are interested in...

Merci!! I think if the bug is solved it is already much better so you can just load it and it does not jump super far that you have to look back where you left. That would already solve a lot! 🙂

It should be fixed, there is still a slight flicker but at least the scroll position remains where it should be.

Based on the feedback received so far I'll consider making some changes so skimming through topics can be done more efficiently, I feel like it's the general consensus

I tried it and it works!! 🥳🥳 So if you go to homepage on a desktop you can click more and it stays where you are so that is much better!! And if you click forum and latest posts that is maybe a good way for @-Kiki- too because you get the longer list for who wants it. So now it is très bien!! 🏆🥇

This is a very good update for me！Thank you very much Mr.Etienne！

Starting today, you can earn the new "Forum Master" badge when you make a popular topic involving many people. Just like the Trivia one, it stacks. Don't try too hard to get one, @Yue_ will hog them all. 😛️

When i opened PPG now i was like huhhh! I did not expect the news because we got another update this week already!

It is a funny badge and one time i want to earn it but that is enough. Some forums dont get the most views but i dont mind it because i think they are nice. For example the interviews I will not stop them because I ❤️ them and also some other funny forums like the ones i made last week with Annika. 😛 😛 I dont mind if a forum has not many views as long as maybe two or more people think it is fun it is good enough! 🙂 But one time i want to earn the badge but that can be anytime! 😃
