Question on Kanji 汉语/漢語/中文

i know that Kanji originated in china, so i was wondering...
japanese and some other countries use kanji too. does that make it easier to understand other languges? or do kanji have differnt meanings in different languages?
also, i only know that japan and china use kanji. which other countries use it?
thank you for your time 😛

kanji is for japanese o.o it means chinese character in japanese

anyway, taiwan uses the so-called "kanji" (chinese character) 🙂
and china uses "Simplified Chinese" 😮 if it's also "kanji"... then singapore does, too.

my english is poor 😛😉
