• Something to tell the world!

  I'm Lorena, 16 years old and from Germany. I'm pretty into sports, music, reading and learning about new stuff. I LOVE motorcycles but won't make a driver's license (i tried once, but it didn't work out somehow). Trying to find a job currently, but still visiting school (very hard to combine those two aspects lol). I'm currently watching Peaky Blinders (I can't watch numerous TV shows at once, completely overwhelming me) and read One For My Enemy by Olivie Blake. My favourite hobby is making others laugh and just have a good time 🙂 (pretty creepy, that this just turns into an emoji by itself, send help!! lol)
  Also, I'm obsessed with greek mythology and learning new things about it every now and then. I love writing and reading own written stories, but I never finished one for whatever reason is there.

• Something uncommon about me

  I actually deleted Instagram a couple of days ago. I don't use tiktok at all and other than that I just use Snapchat and Pinterest (if you can count this as social media). I just decided, that Instagram takes too much of my time I could use for more productive things and it made me feel bad about my body etc. I noticed, it isn't really good for me to spend that much time on my phone just scrolling, so I deleted Instagram just to test if it would help. And eventually it did. I really start to like the idea of not scrolling, but on the other hand, a lot of contacts are just via Instagram and I don't wanna lose the connection. Anyways, I will handle this sometime, bur for now, I'm really happy with my decision not to use it.

• I'm excited about...

  the change of society through time, jk, it's basically anything and everything. I always enjoy listening to your points of view and discuss (although I'll always lose, I'm really bad at discussing). If you feel burdensome, feel free to talk about it, I'll listen and try to help you out. I'm really honest and direct though, so please don't be shocked or anything, okay? Thanks (:

• Personal skills

  I don't wanna sound weird or anything, but when you're at the point of reading my whole profile, you'll discover, I am pretty weird tbh. I like to crochet (currently up to a bread and some peas => for friends lol; if you want pictures or anything, just ask(🙂. I enjoy making others laugh, but who doesn't? So idk if this really counts as a special skill or anything. I am, in fact really organized, believe it or not. I find it hard to act spontaneous, but I love surprises. I can't meet up with people without asking myself once, what we should do, eat or talk about. It's a really bad habit, so if you have any ideas to make me more spontaneous, please help me lol

• Living abroad for one year

  I would love to go to Italy, Australia, Sweden or Great Britain, (I know, a lot, butttt) I am really in love with the culture and all the stuff you can find there. I would most likely visit Italy (did an exchange for a week once and I really miss it) to broaden my horizon regarding the culture and the FOOD!! I am in my 4th year of learning Italian in school right now (: my dream always was to visit Australia because of the animals and Sweden for the aurora and the landscape.

  And idk what else. I love travelling but I don't like taking the plane (idk why, like, I'm not scared or anything, I just really don't like it lol). Also, I can't take a ship, I'm getting seasick. Anyway, I love to discover new areas on my own and just meet new people I could hang with. After finishing school, I'd like to travel through Europe for like 2-3 months by train with Interrail (maybe you know that?).

• Favourite books/authors/films

  I am basically always reading. Currently, I'm reading "one for my enemy" by Olivie Blake. In general, I read a lot of dark fantasy / romance, but I'm pretty much into anything, I could read crime, a biography or a lexicon, as long as it's interesting, I'm on!

• My interests in other cultures

  food, differences, similarities & literature. Basically, I wanna learn everything about your culture and if you're interested in German culture, you could always ask me!! I'd love to know as much as possible about any culture that's out there, so yeah. If there's something interesting about your country, culture or whatever, please feel free to tell me, even if I'm not asking ahaha

• Making the world a better place

  take care of the environment and treat others respectfully. Always treat them like you wanna be treated and stuff. (I may sound like a teacher of a primary school setting the most basic rules, but it really doesn't work in our society nowadays, so I just wanted to remind you!!) There's still a lot of racism, sexism, oppression of minorities and the list goes on and on and on. I know, some may think, I didn't experience anything like that and that's right, but I still don't think it's ok to just discriminate anyone because of superficial reasons. I don't say you shouldn't point out your opinion, but just don't hurt anybody with it, please. Thank you (:

  Idk why but I really stick to those quotes and I truly believe, everybody should remember these. They helped me through some rough times and let me discover that nobody is perfect and you can just better yourself and learn from your own or others mistakes. So don't be afraid of doing something, if it's good, you're fine, if it's bad, you can only improve.
