  • My interests in other cultures

    I want to learn more about European countries as I have discovered I am about 40% English and 35% Scottish. I hope to travel there someday. I also want to learn more about China and Taiwan. My children are adopted from those countries an I would like to teach them about their native culture.

  • Cities and countries I have visited

    I have been to many states in the US. Some of the states I have visited are Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, and New York. I have also traveled to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to adopt our children. We loved each of these countries. I hope to visit Europe soon.

    I love talking to people about raising children. I love talking about God. I also love encouraging other people.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    I love books by Dee Henderson and Terri Blackstock. I love action, comedy, and romantic movies. I love watching mystery shows, especially British shows.

  • A personal challenge

    One of the hardest thing I have ever done is deal with infertility. I founded out at age 27 that I could not have biological children. My husband has been a great support though and still loved me anyway. We have now adopted three children.

    Our youngest child was diagnosed with autism and ADHD. That is a big challenge for all of us too.

    I love to crochet. I have made hats, baby clothes, scarfs, blankets and sweaters.

  • Personal skills

    I am a pretty good singer. I also make pretty things with crochet.

  • My proudest accomplishments

    I have a bachelor's degree in education. I have been married for 20 years and we have 3 children.

  • Living abroad for one year

    If I could live in another country in one year, I would choose Britain. I have family heritage in England and Scotland so I would love to experience them first hand.
