I am quite passionate about cooking and baking, always looking for new recipes! I also enjoy hearing stories about other people's adventures and travels and telling a few of my own. To go along with my travels, I love to take photos of and care for animals and the environment. I also do quite a bit of art and reading and enjoy discussing books and seeing other people's work.
I would love to hear from you! As an extravert living in this pandemic, I've been craving connection. In the end, if we connect well, I think I'd like to be paper-based pen palls.
I have loved to travel for as long as I can remember and take every opportunity that presents itself! I became something of a travel companion for my grandparents. Two of my favorite places I have visited are the Galapagos and Shanghai, China. Not outside of my home country, but another awesome adventure I have been on is hiking over 1000 miles of the Appalachian Trail (Spring Dancer was my Trail Name). Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to make it over to Europe yet.
Some more unusual details about me include: I have dyslexia (so it took me a long time to learn to read because I read in a different part of the brain than the average human and my spelling is... let's just say problematic), I have hiked over 1000 miles of the Appalachian Trail, I'm the eldest of 4, I work on a small farm in Indiana during the summer (tending chickens, making repairs, mowing... etc.)
