  When I was 25 I went to Australia for a working holiday. I've seen a little bit of the world but am not travelling anymore. These day's you can find me mostly in Hoogeveen, Emmen and Assen.

  I visited Australia, Scotland, England, Belgium, Germany, Norway, New Zealand. Hope to go to Ireland one day and perhaps the United States.

  cooking a delicious beansoup, like to write poems, in Drenthe I know a few beautiful walking tracks. 🙂

• Favourite books/authors/films

  'Nala's world'. It's a book about a guy who travels around on a bike and finds a kitten.
  Sara Bareilles has good songs in my opinion.
  At the moment there is a series that I like a lot. It's called 'This is us', you can find it on Amazon prime.

• Living abroad for one year

  I've done it, but it was many years ago. When I was 25 I went to Australia for a year. Travelled around, picked vegetables and fruit. Saw Ayers Rock, a bit of the Great Barrier Reef and New Zealand.

• Childhood pleasures

  Walk in the forrest with our dog. He was a Stabyhoun and I would love it to find again
  a dogfriend like that. Reading was also something I did a lot. Books of Roald Dahl where favorite.

• My feeling about the future

  Positive, I think we are in charge of our own future and we are able make the most of it ourselves.

• I recently learnt...

  Recently I've learned 'Shoot the four', on a course Mindset. Everyday I practise this new skill.

• Personal skills

  I'm a good listener. Futher I can write nice poems, but write them in Dutch.

• A career without obstacles

  They say when you can turn your hobby into
  a living, you never have to work. I'm still searching for that. Perhaps is something with being there for people my destination.

• A personal challenge

  To find a job that feels like it is my destiny would be amazing! I am still working on it.

• A trick or piece of advice

  Just be yourself, do things the way that suits you. Others may not always understand, but that's okay.

• My opinion on human nature

  Everyone is trying to do their best on their own level of consciousness, including myself.

• Making the world a better place

  We can all contribute by being nice to each other. Give space to people who won't speak loud but are modest. Clean up the streets a bit if you see waste. If everyone does a little, a lot gets done.

• I'm excited about...

  I found a cd of Peder B. Helland and it is such nice soothing music. It's awesome.

• Something to tell the world!

  Looking for penpalls about my own age. I hope to find people with mutual interests.

• I always enjoy talking about...

  Recipes. If jou have a nice recipe from your country you want to share I am always interested.

• 10 years from now

  I found a job I am happy with, my house is a cosy place to live in. Spending my free time with hobby's I enjoy and people I care about. Then I have a lovely dogfriend. 😊
