Haha, it’s totally okay! not everything has to follow the standards set by society. For example, in my country, there’s this belief that women have to do this or that, and they should be married by the age of 25 or people start thinking no one wants them. Sounds judgey, right? But honestly, I don’t let those expectations define me. I choose to live based on my own values, my purpose, and my goals. And I believe no one, not even family, should interfere with that. I set healthy boundaries so others know how to treat me respectfully.
When your dreams fits into the molds of society, that's no more a future but a duty. A life time duty is the worst form of social slavery. Keep your dreams alive, that's the only way to slay the dull monster called maturity.
