Hello everybody, time to start a new topic, and I thought this might be interesting. I allready had big interests in small country's, but that interest reminded me today, when I for the first time saw a red Toyota Celica with Liechtenstein number plates parked on the parking place of the Obramat in Lugo. Now you have lots of small country's like Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, Monaco, Andorra, Luxembourg, Vatican City, San Marino, Malta etc. I find Vatican City and San Marino interesting, because they're both Italian city's, and I find it interesting that city's are being seen as counntry's. About Gibraltar, I wonder if it's actually a country ore an over-seas region from the UK, my father thinks the last, I think its a country; it has its own flag and government, the only thing is that it currently belongs to the king of England, but I heared they're planning to give it to Spain soon. The two most spoen languages in Gibraltar are English and Spanish. And then there is also Galicia, and about this northern Spanish region my father told me something interesting today (26 th); he once, somewhere, saw a poster wich said Galicia will turn into its own country. I think its a good idea if Galicia does that; it has its own language (Gallego/Galician), and it has its own flag. The language comes closer to Portugese then to Spanish, but its still its own language, and a lot of people in Galicia only speak Gallego and never learned to speak Spanish. Now, if you take a better look at Spain, it actually exists out of several small country's, been put together and called "Spain", but in fact it are all small country's, because a lot of Spanish regions have there own languages, for example: Galicia, Basque Country, Cataluna (I think the whole south of Spain speaks Catalan), Asturias and more. Asturias is the only one I don't now of if it has its own language, I actually don't think so.
