I always enjoy talking about the things people love. If someone has a passion and wants to share it, those are the conversations I really enjoy.
For me, my passions are drawing and collage, cooking, yoga, and the company of smart, interesting people.
I write a blog about returning to studying Italian after some years. If anyone is interested in following my adventures in resuming learning a language, find them here:

I have visited quite a few countries in Europe, but I have been to Italy and Switzerland each several times. I have also been to a few different parts of Turkey and I visited Honduras a number of years ago. That was probably the most different from my home because I live in a big city, but I was staying there in a little village.
Travel is always interesting, so I would not want to say one place was the most interesting.
I am an expert at taking simple things and making them into something new and interesting. I can make a fantastic meal with just a few ingredients or an interesting work of art with very simple materials.
I am a teacher and something I love to share with kids is how to improvise - to take whatever you have and to work with it in a way that makes what started out as mundane into something great and unique.
